A lifelong resident of Aurora, Dolores is a retired nurse after 42 years of service. She is a community and civic person, mentor, advocate, and avid basketball fan.
She is a proud parent of five: three star basketball players, Matt “Skip” Hicks, Ron Hicks, Derrick Hicks, one baseball player, Al Hicks, and a daughter that is a true community activist, Peggy Hicks.
