Jerria Donelson

Jerria Donelson – HUD Compliance Manager & Pre/Post Purchase
With over 24 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, management, and program design, along with 22 years in
affordable housing program implementation, Jerria brings substantial expertise to her work. She holds two Master’s
degrees-one in Community Economic Development and another in Business Administration and Management. Driven
by a commitment to equitable access to wealth and resources, she deeply values the church’s role in responsible
community stewardship.


Currently, Jerria is the Director of Housing Counseling Education and Services at The Neighbor Project, a
HUD-certified nonprofit organization focused on affordable housing. In this role, she works to eliminate barriers to
affordable housing, particularly for underserved populations. Jerria also collaborates with Everlasting Word Church
and community leaders on the African American Homeownership Club, LLC, an organization dedicated to preserving
wealth among homeowners, especially within the Black/African American community. Additionally, she leads the
development and implementation of “Closing The Gap,” The Neighbor Project’s down payment assistance program
launched in 2023 to support Black, African American, and Caribbean descent individuals in achieving
homeownership.
