Residents can get tips on how to check and maintain private wells and septic systems at 7 p.m. Tuesday April 8 at the Aurora Township Youth and Community Center, 313 Gale St.
Representatives from the Illinois Department of Health and the Kane County Health Department will give presentations on how to maintain your water well system and to check for contamination.
The event is sponsored by Aurora Township along with State Reps. Linda Chapa LaVia and Stephanie Kifowit.
Prior to the presentations, Aurora Township will hold its annual Town Meeting at 6 p.m. April 8 at the youth center.
