A lifelong Aurora Township resident, Davis attended West Aurora District #129 schools beginning with the North Aurora Grade School, Jefferson Junior High and West Aurora Senior High. He completed four years in the U.S. Air Force that included a tour of duty in South Vietnam as a ground Forward Air Controller. Davis completed his formal education with an Associate of Science Degree from Waubonsee Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Aurora University. He has been active with the Boy Scouts of America and earned the Eagle Scout Award. He holds the highest State of Illinois appraisal license as a State Certified General Appraiser and is designated as a Certified Illinois Assessing Officer – Master. He is also a Realtor and licensed Real Estate Managing Broker.
