Meetings of the Aurora Township Board of Trustees are held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at the Township Office at 4:00 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.

Christina Campos, SupervisorChristina is a life-long resident of Aurora Township. She attended East Aurora School Dist. #131, and holds an Associates Degree from Waubonsee Community College as well as a Bachelor's Degree from Judson College in Elgin. She has twin daughters, Miriam and Marisela, and a yellow lab named Preciosa. Christina serves on the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Resource Council, and is a Board member of the Aurora Kiwanis. She belongs to St. Joseph's Church and serves on the Pastoral Council. Christina served as an Aurora Township Trustee from 2005 - 2009 prior to being elected as Township Supervisor. She currently serves as a Board Member for Family Focus of Aurora and is an Advisory Board Member of Alden of Waterford. |

Davis Offutt, AssessorA lifelong Aurora Township resident, Davis attended West Aurora District #129 schools beginning with the North Aurora Grade School, Jefferson Junior High and West Aurora Senior High. He completed four years in the U.S. Air Force that included a tour of duty in South Vietnam. Davis completed his formal education with an Associate of Science Degree from Waubonsee Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Aurora University. He is active with the Boy Scouts and earned the Eagle Scout Award. Davis sits on the Board of Directors of the Heritage YMCA and is currently Chairman fo the Aurora Family Center YMCA. He holds the highest State of Illinois appraisal license of State Certified General Appraiser and is designated as a Certified Illinois Assessing Officer. John Shoemaker, Highway CommissionerJohn is a lifelong resident of Aurora Township. He lives in North Aurora with his wife Rachel and three sons Mark, Will and J.J. He graduated from East Aurora High School, attended Waubonsee Community College and graduated from Aurora University. John was a Trustee for Aurora Township for 8 years and sat on the 708 Mental Health Board for 2 years. John is an avid golfer and enjoys fishing. john@athd.org |

David W. Moore, TrusteeDavid has lived in Aurora for more than 40 years. He has worked in Kane County Government as a public servant for 39 years. During those 39 years of public service, his positions included; Kane County Sheriff's Department, Coroner of Kane County and Lead Special Investigator for Kane County State's Attorney's Office. He also served on a Presidential Special Oversight Board. Moore served for 35 years in the U.S. Army, Active and Reserve, and is highly decorated for his honorable service. His tours of duty include Viet Nam and Persian Gulf. Moore completed his formal education at Waubonsee Community College with an Associate of Science Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Social Justice from Lewis University. He is married and has one adult son. |

Dolores Hicks, TrusteeA lifelong resident of Aurora. Dolores is a retired nurse after 42 years of service and a community and civic person, mentor, advocate, and avid basketball fan. Proud parent of five; three star basketball player, Matt “Skip” Hicks, Ron Hicks, Derrick Hicks. One baseball player, Al Hicks and a daughter that is a true community activist, Peggy Hicks. Vision:

William Catching, TrusteeAfter graduating from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 1990, William “Bill” Catching moved to Aurora to work as a reporter at The Beacon-News. He served as an assistant chief of staff at the City of Aurora and as director of development at the Fox Valley United Way. He currently works as a freelance writer and marketing consultant. He is married to Dr. Karen Catching, a physician specializing in internal medicine and a partner at Greater Valley Medicine in St. Charles, and lives near Aurora University. He has three children, Caleb, 5; Zoe, 7; and William, 11. In March 2008, he was nominated for the Aurora Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Volunteer of the Year award for his volunteer work on their golf outing. He has served as a board member of Communities in Schools, Fox Valley United Way, the Aurora Puerto Rican Cultural Council, Aurora Cease Fire and West Aurora Volunteers for Education. He currently serves on the board of the A+ Foundation for West Aurora Schools. |
