Code Enforcement

The Aurora Township Ordinance to abate nuisances (junk, trash, weeds, inoperable vehicles) is enforced in the unincorporated areas of the township by the township’s Code Enforcement Officer.

If you are a resident of the unincorporated areas of Aurora Township, some property maintenance violations will be handled by Aurora Township (such as tall weeds and grass) at 630-897-8777 while other violations will be handled by the Kane County Health Department at 630-444-3040.
